My name is Lauren and I am a full-time wife and mother. In my spare time, I make things and post about them here.
I learned how to sew a few years ago, when a sweet lady at my church taught me weekly lessons. When I first started, I didn't even know how to turn on my sewing machine! But within a few weeks, I was enjoying the fruits of my labor. Two sewing machines and an embroidery machine later, what began as a hobby grew into more of a small business as family and friends began to make "orders." I did this for a couple of years until my family began to grow. I don't have enough time in the current season of my life to take orders anymore, but I still enjoy sewing and making things as time allows. Thanks for visiting my blog!
i love anything with monograms. but embroidering a onesie is no fun! it's very hard to keep the onesie from finding a way to get stuck under the hoop and being caught by the needle. even when i pin it back. i have ruined at least 3 this way even though i thought i was being very careful. so here are a couple i have done lately, one for kate and one for jenna. and here's kate showing hers off.
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, I am no longer taking outside orders until further notice. I am still learning to balance taking care of two young children with my love for sewing. Thank you for understanding.

You did an excellent job on the embroidery. I must agree with you that they are a pain. Your results are outstanding.
