blueeyedbaby designs: new name (finally)

I learned how to sew a few years ago, when a sweet lady at my church taught me weekly lessons. When I first started, I didn't even know how to turn on my sewing machine! But within a few weeks, I was enjoying the fruits of my labor. Two sewing machines and an embroidery machine later, what began as a hobby grew into more of a small business as family and friends began to make "orders." I did this for a couple of years until my family began to grow. I don't have enough time in the current season of my life to take orders anymore, but I still enjoy sewing and making things as time allows. Thanks for visiting my blog!

new name (finally)

as you can see, i have finally decided on a new name for my blog/business. this was a tough decision. my husband and mom don't really like the new name, but just about every other cute name out there was already taken. i love this one and it was always my favorite choice. you see, i have a precious, bright-blue-eyed baby girl who has totally inspired me to sew in the first place. my very first "designs" were for her! so i hope one day she's honored by the name choice. now i'm working on a logo design for the name, for tags, labels, etc.
