My name is Lauren and I am a full-time wife and mother. In my spare time, I make things and post about them here.
I learned how to sew a few years ago, when a sweet lady at my church taught me weekly lessons. When I first started, I didn't even know how to turn on my sewing machine! But within a few weeks, I was enjoying the fruits of my labor. Two sewing machines and an embroidery machine later, what began as a hobby grew into more of a small business as family and friends began to make "orders." I did this for a couple of years until my family began to grow. I don't have enough time in the current season of my life to take orders anymore, but I still enjoy sewing and making things as time allows. Thanks for visiting my blog!
this is an appliqued elmo on a new style of dress i'm trying out. this dress can either have buttons or ribbons for the shoulder closure and can also be reversible.
i really like it and i'm sure i'll be doing it again soon! this is my daughter modeling the dress...
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, I am no longer taking outside orders until further notice. I am still learning to balance taking care of two young children with my love for sewing. Thank you for understanding.

Ha ha. I just posted to the most recent post about making these dresses reversible. Guess I better scroll down and read first, huh?
