blueeyedbaby designs: dots and zebra stripes

I learned how to sew a few years ago, when a sweet lady at my church taught me weekly lessons. When I first started, I didn't even know how to turn on my sewing machine! But within a few weeks, I was enjoying the fruits of my labor. Two sewing machines and an embroidery machine later, what began as a hobby grew into more of a small business as family and friends began to make "orders." I did this for a couple of years until my family began to grow. I don't have enough time in the current season of my life to take orders anymore, but I still enjoy sewing and making things as time allows. Thanks for visiting my blog!

dots and zebra stripes

this is the latest bag, ordered by someone who wanted bold and bright prints. i found this great fabric at joann's and i had never seen it there before so i snatched up a few yards. if you can't tell from the pictures, it's on a chocolate brown background. i like this bag so much i might just make myself one too when i have the time. it would make a cute diaper bag too.
