My name is Lauren and I am a full-time wife and mother. In my spare time, I make things and post about them here.
I learned how to sew a few years ago, when a sweet lady at my church taught me weekly lessons. When I first started, I didn't even know how to turn on my sewing machine! But within a few weeks, I was enjoying the fruits of my labor. Two sewing machines and an embroidery machine later, what began as a hobby grew into more of a small business as family and friends began to make "orders." I did this for a couple of years until my family began to grow. I don't have enough time in the current season of my life to take orders anymore, but I still enjoy sewing and making things as time allows. Thanks for visiting my blog!
this dish towel is just for looks, so don't even think about wiping your hands on it! just kidding.....sorta. let's just say, i won't be cleaning up big messes with this one. but it sure does look good in my kitchen! :-)
Hi! I know I am a total stranger, but I am a huge fan of yours. I just discovered your blog and wow! I am inspired! You have an amazing talent and I have enjoyed looking and learning from your blog! Do you mind if I put you as a link on my blogspot? Thanks for sharing your gifts with us and for the spiritual encouragement that comes from reading HIS word posted on your profile. Many Blessings! PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately, I am no longer taking outside orders until further notice. I am still learning to balance taking care of two young children with my love for sewing. Thank you for understanding.

Lauren,
You are doing great!! I'm very impressed. I miss sewing, but being able to keep up with your projects does help :)
After seeing a bloomers ad on FB almost everyday, I though, "Lauren could make those too." Just an idea for you :)
Keep up the great work!!
